Mission Mode is the initial game mode to be released. In Mission Mode, you as a player will have the objective of fulfilling missions, and success in these missions will bring rewards, as well as move the story forward along that story arc. Each mission you finish will open up the next missions.
You start the mission at your base of operations. Here you can do several things.
Manage Your Active Team
Manage Your Roster
Choose Mission
Manage Inventory
Level Up Your Characters
You will always begin your missions in this room at your starting base of operations. The characters that are on the floor are the active members of your team. When you proceed your mission, the characters here will be the ones that will be part of the mission. Take note that some missions only have a limited amount of slots so you can only send not more than the specified amount of characters.
To remove members on the active team, just click on Roster and drag them to the Roster section. To bring them to active, just drag them to the slots above the Roster list.
Here you can manage your roster of Graywalkers for your missions. Remember that you can not have more characters in the team than the maximum number per mission you do. Just drag them back and forth to the active roster as needed. When satisfied, just click on roster to get out of that screen.
Take note that your starting characters are your NFT characters. You can gain new non-NFT Graywalkers but those that die, will have a permanent death if they are NOT an NFT. If they are however an NFT, they will simply be inaccessible for 1 mission or a minimum amount of time.
This section is where you will be able to manage the missions available to you. Take note that there are dozens more missions and they will only reveal themselves after you've finished the required mission to proceed.
Missions have a maximum number of characters that can go on the mission. This means that even if you've managed to gather more members for your team, you are sometimes forced to choose among them whom to bring.
Each mission can be repeated until you finish it. You are even allowed to repeat the mission to gain more rewards. Do take note that the rewards in terms of gear and experience are diminishing. The more you play the same mission, the less rewards you will get. This encourages people to move forward with their story by fulfilling the succeeding missions of each story arc.
Lastly, Each mission will provide you with specific rewards. Some rewards only happen
As you go through your missions, you will accumulate lots of gear such as weapons, armor, ammo, and miscellaneous other equipment that you can use either as materials or simply to sell to gain money.
When your characters have gained enough experience, they can level up their characters gaining new upgrades to their characters such as more attribute points, new skill levels, and new abilities.
